In the girls’ A-section, KZN Coastal and Western Province were top of Pool A after winning their first two games and raking in six points each, with the sides separated only narrowly on goal difference.

Amathole and Southern Free State shared top spot in Pool B, with both teams winning their opening matches.

In the boys’ A-section, KZN Coastal were two points clear at the top of Pool A, beating Northerns 2-1 before defeating the KZN Inland B team 3-1 in a derby clash.

The Southern Gauteng B side were lying second in the group with one victory and a draw.

In Pool B, three teams – Western Province, Boland and Southern Free State – were top of the standings with one victory and three points under their belts.
